XX Fantastic
Paule Mackrous is currently working on a PhD in semiology at the University of Quebec in Montreal. Her research subject focuses on the presence effect of emerging art forms on the Web (hypermediatic arts, virtual worlds). She contributes to several actual and contemporary art magazines and participates to Editorial committees of DPI, the electronic journal of Studio XX as well as Bleuorange, an hypermediatic litteratures magazine. She is a writer for the Éditions Art Mûr and works as a research assistant at the Nt2: the Laboratory on hypermediatic arts and litteratures. She is also an active member of the « Escouade sémiotique de Montréal », a group of researchers aiming to establish a space for discussions about semiotic.
