Friday Evenings in Studio XX's Computer Lab

This is a typical Friday class at StudioXX during Histoire Orales, where the workshop members were asked to compose a sound piece, layering their documentary interview into a composition that informs and is exciting to listen to! Using a variety of sound art and documentary interviewing techniques they became radio producers and creators.

Voici un atelier typique du projet Histoires Orales. ll était demandé aux participantes de l'atelier de réaliser un documentaire sonore, de faire de leur entrevue une composition qui informe et qui soit à la fois excitante à écouter!
En faisant l'apprentissage de techniques d'enregistrement (avec micro et mini-disque) et de montage sonore (avec le logiciel libre Audacity), ces femmes sont devenues productrices et créatrices.

Erica & Fathiya's project "Rose Jetté" is an interview with one of the first female school-bus drivers in Ontario, Canada!!
Hear her techno-encounters with the internal-combution engine!

In their project “ Légere, légere ” they interviewed Marguerite Lescop whose technonology is travel... around the world!

Diane et Tiane ont rencontré Marguerite Lescop, une octogénaire qui confie ne pas s'intéressé à l'ordinateur mais qui n'a pas moins des projets plein la tête qu'elle réalise avec bonheur.
